The turbo is back with Puma x Porsche Legacy
In a move that’s fitting to what’s happening right now but also exciting for Porsche fans (like you and me), Puma has introduced its new Porsche Legacy collection. Like other marque-specific Puma Motorsport collections, this includes footwear, apparel, and accessories. At the time of publishing the story, both Keller X and 43einhalb have these in stock.

The departure of adidas Originals Porsche Design line didn’t exactly come as a shock because towards the end of the life of the brand, the collection was nowhere as much fun as it once was. Especially in a market like in India, where availability of the latest collection was far from great. I’m not a connoisseur or a collector of trainers, but even from the driver’s point of view, the Originals made a lot of sense. The soft sole and rounded heel meant one could operate the pedals with better precision. And thus indulge in driving the way it’s supposed to be.

The new Porsche Legacy collection comprises three shoes: Rider (Black), Rider (Grey/Yellow), and SpeedCat (Black); a few T-shirts; a pair of track trousers; a cap; and two bags. Since these aren’t bespoke products made for drivers, you can expect them to a bit of hit or miss. But the segment is so small and devoid of options that anything new is exciting. And if it’s got ‘turbo’ plastered across it, you can’t ask for anything more, can you?
The digital partners responsible for the launch (including Flat6High5 who told me about the new collection) have also released a nice minute-long video. This should appeal to you, even if you aren’t looking at spending your life savings on Porsche-branded apparel. And in the case of Puma x Porsche Legacy, you won’t need to empty the bank, as these are priced well.
